MEET THE SENIOR EXECUTIVE TEAM

Dr. Daniel Gould and Dr. Pamela Olsen relocated to Abu Dhabi to open MRC-NECC (previously The New England Center for Children – Abu Dhabi) in 2007. Since then the administrative team has grown along with the center. Executive Team members have decades of experience in their respective areas.

Executive Director

Dr. Pamela Olsen, PhD, MSEd, BCBA

Dr. Pamela Olsen, PhD, is a Licensed Special Education Teacher, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and an International Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with individuals with autism and their families. Dr. Olsen has been a member of The New England Center for Children staff since October 2000, and since that time has held a variety of roles working with young children with autism in school, center, and residential-based settings.  Dr. Olsen relocated to the United Arab Emirates to establish NECC-Abu Dhabi, now the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Special Education operated by NECC (MRC-NECC) in 2007. She currently serves as Executive Director of  MRC-NECC.  Dr. Olsen’s research interests include cross-cultural applications of special education and behavior analysis practice, and culturally-responsive teaching practices.

Nihal

Senior Director of Human Resources

Nihal Saad, MA HRM, CIPD

Nihal Saad is a Certified Professional with more than 15 years of human resource management experience. The last 8 years have been in the education field serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Special Education operated by NECC (MRC-NECC), Abu Dhabi. Nihal is bilingual (English/ Arabic) and has notable experience in strategic human resource planning, recruiting and staffing, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and UAE Law Compliance. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster, London, UK. Nihal received her professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and has become an associate member from 2014.

Mohamed Tegani,

Senior Director of Operations

Mohamed Tegani, MBA

Mohamed joined MRC-NECC in 2008 as the Business Manager after spending several years in Boston assisting Emirati families to access medical services. He took over the role of MRC-NECC Director of Operations in 2016. Mohamed oversees and supports the Business Office, serves as the primary liaison between MRC-NECC and the Abu Dhabi government, and maintains responsibility for all outsourced contract providers. Mohamed also serves on the MRC-NECC Executive Management Team where he shares his valuable expertise and insights regarding the culture of local business operations.
