NECC CEO and Founder, Vinnie Strully, wrote a letter to USA Today, which was published in the Sunday Opinion section on March 23rd. Titled “Autism Visibility: Second Look,” Mr. Strully mentions the need for such inclusion in popular culture to help promote greater understanding and awareness.
“As educators of children with autism, we see time and again how these children and their families struggle to find inclusion and understanding from their peers and community.”
